The War in Ukraine and Russia

While much of the world’s attention has been focused on the United States over the summer, the war between Russia and Ukraine continues unabated.
In early August, the Ukrainians launched a daring incursion into the Russian frontier regions Kursk and Belgorod, while Russian forces continue to occupy more and more of Donetsk. As a response, Russia launched a record number of attacks over Ukraine with 127 missiles and 109 Shahed drones.
To provide an update on the war and how the incursion impacts the Russian society and regime. The Danish Foreign Policy Society is hosting a webinar between Vladimir Milov and Charlotte Flindt Pedersen.
Vladimir Milov is a Russian politician and economist, who served as Deputy Minister of Energy in 2002. Since then, he has been a part of various think tanks and he worked on Alexei Navalny’s 2016 presidential campaign. He also runs a YouTube channel where he regularly provides updates on the situation in Russia.
Charlotte Flindt Pedersen is the Director of The Danish Foreign Policy Society.
