Russia's Aggression and Europe's Response: A Critical Cross Road

This event is being organized by Ukraine House Denmark and the Danish Foreign Policy Society and aims to bring together prominent voices from across Europe on Russia's war in Ukraine, how it is unfolding, and the deriving consequences for a wider Europe.
The panel discussion will involve:
Maksym Butkevych, a prominent Ukrainian human rights activist and journalist, member of PEN Ukraine, who spent 2 years in Russian captivity and was recently exchanged as Ukrainian POW
Edward Lucas, a prominent journalist, author of major works analyzing Russia, Non-resident Senior Fellow and Senior Advisor at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA)
Rasa Jukneviciene, member of European Parliament, author of the RESOLUTION on Russia’s disinformation and historical falsification to justify its war of aggression against Ukraine - To Be Confirmed

The panel discussion will be opened by Yaryna Chornohuz, a Ukrainian poet and an active Marine Corps servicewoman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a mother, who decided to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2019 to defend her children’s cultural rights to live in freedom.
