U35: Nordic Convention on International Affairs
18. april 2026
You’re hereby invited to the Nordic Convention on International Affairs (NCIA) taking place in Malmö.
During the convention, we will explore“The role of the Nordic-Baltic Region in a Changing World Order”.
NCIA is a collaborative initiative organised by a number of youth organisations across the Nordic-Baltic region, all focused on foreign affairs. The convention aims to stimulate discussion on international issues in the Nordic-Baltic context, bring people together, and strengthen civil society ties across the region.
Bringing together perspectives from diplomacy, academia, and the private sector, the programme offers a space to reflect on both the challenges and opportunities facing the region today. Through panel discussions and a keynote address, the convention will highlight how Nordic-Baltic cooperation can evolve in response to a shifting global landscape.
Confirmed speakers include:
• Ville Väyrynen, President of Nordic Council
• Inga Skujiņa, Ambassador of Latvia to Denmark
• Joakim Zander, Lecturer in Business Law at LUSEM & Deputy Director at the Centre for European Studies at Lund University
• Morten Schiøtz, Political Director at Foreningen Norden
• Amanda Wollstadm, Vice-Chair of the Swedish Atlantic Council
• Thomas Becker, Executive Director of STRING Megaregion
